The board of the Dutch Ceramic Society is pleased to invite you for our next meeting on Thursday May 12. On this date, you are welcome in Restaurant Croy De Goffert in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, for the following program that mainly deals with interaction between young ceramic researchers that present their research, and experienced people from the ceramic field.
(The morning program is dedicated to the General Meeting, NKV members only)
12.00 : Lunch
13.00 : Guided tour to RadboudUMC Dept. of Biomaterials, in English language
15.00 : Student Speech Contest (in English language). MSc and PhD students will present their ceramics-related research project to the audience, and at the same time ‘battle’ with each other in a contest to give the best presentation.
18.00 : Warm & cold buffet, with the result of the Contest
approx. 19.30 : Closure
You can register – preferably instantly, but on May 9 at the latest – by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org (or a reply to this invitation) in which you indicate with how many persons you will be present.
Are you a student and do you participate in the Student Speech Contest, then you will pay nothing. Do you attend the entire program, NKV members and their partners or guests will pay 25 euros per person, with a maximum of 1 accompanied partner/guest per NKV member. All other participants pay 35 euros per person. At the same time as your registration, you will pay the amount due on the bank account of ‘Nederlandse Keramische Vereniging’, mentioning your name and ‘NKV May 2016’. In case of no-show, and if you did not cancel at least 5 days in advance, we will still charge you for the expenses incurred (i.e. for the buffet).
Restaurant Croy De Goffert is in the middle of Nijmegen, close to the Goffertpark, with address Goffertweg 17 and phone number +31 (0) 24 355 0152. There is enough space available to park your car near the restaurant. When you make use of public transport, please take city bus no. 4 from Nijmegen Central Railway Station in the direction of Aldenhof, and get off at the stop ‘Dobbelmannweg/Groenestraat’. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the restaurant.
