We are delighted to present you a program that is dedicated to new developments in ceramics. On May 23, the Dutch Ceramic Society (NKV) together with (and at) the University of Twente will organise a symposium with academic as well as industrial presentations, followed by a guided tour over the nanolab.

With six presentations, there is something for everyone. Industrial presentations of Admatec (Pablo Gonzalez on additive manufacturing), Eurekite (Gerard Cadafalch Gazquez on commercialisation of flexible ceramics) and CoorsTek (Sjoerd van den Berg on manufacturing of advanced ceramics) alternate with presentations of PhD students of University of Twente (Yang Wang on printing of supercapacitors), TU Delft (Alexandra Carabat on self-healing thermal barrier coatings) and RadboudUMC (Daniela Petre on toughening of calcium phosphate bioceramics). 16.00 uur: Nanolab guided tour
We will have a look at the research behind selected subjects within the fields of nano-electronic materials, oxide thin films, inorganic & hybrid nanomaterials and nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage.

You can register – preferably instantly, but on May 18 at the latest – by sending an e-mail to email@example.com in which you indicate whether you will only be present at the General Meeting plus lunch, or will attend the entire program, and with how many persons.
Are you an NKV member who is only present at the General Meeting plus lunch, then you will pay nothing. Do you attend the entire program, NKV members and their partners or guests will pay 30 euros per person, with a maximum of 1 accompanied partner/guest per NKV member. All other participants pay 45 euros per person. At the same time as your registration, you will pay the amount due on our bank account mentioning your name and ‘NKV May 2018’. In case of no-show, and if you did not cancel at least 5 days in advance, we will still charge you for the expenses incurred (i.e. for the buffet).
Congress Centre Drienerburght is located at the Drienerlolaan 5 in Enschede, on the campus of the University of Twente. There is enough space available to park your car on the campus. When you make use of public transport, please leave the train at NS railway station Enschede Kennispark. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the congress centre.
